MUFON Presents – MUFON Florida’s September 2026 Meeting with Guest Speaker Samuel Chong

MUFON Florida State Director Matt Kellison welcomed Samuel Chong as that chapter’s guest speaker for their September 24th Zoom meeting. Samuel presented a fascinating discussion exploring UFO/UAP encounters from an Eastern perspective and the extraordinary story behind Michel Desmarquet’s Thiaoouba Prophecy. He shared his personal journey to locate and meet Desmarquet, his role in bringing the book to Chinese readers, and why its accounts of extraterrestrial contact captured his interest. Samuel discussed a wide range of topics presented in the book, including alleged extraterrestrial technologies, telepathy, reincarnation, spirituality, ancient civilizations, unexplained archaeological sites, portals and missing time, and humanity’s relationship with other intelligent beings. A particularly interesting theme was the contrast between Western interest in the physical technology of UFOs and the greater emphasis Samuel described among Chinese researchers and readers on the knowledge, philosophy, and spiritual implications associated with extraterrestrial contact. The evening concluded with a lively discussion among Florida MUFON members and guests regarding the Thiaoouba Prophecy, Samuel’s personal meetings with Desmarquet, UFO research in China, the cultural implications of disclosure, and the possibility of portals associated with UAP phenomena. Samuel emphasized that understanding the broader meaning of extraterrestrial contact and humanity’s spiritual development that may ultimately be more important than official government disclosure. On behalf of Florida MUFON, we extend our sincere thanks to Samuel for joining us and sharing his remarkable presentation, fascinating insights, and unique perspective with our members and guests.
